eHospital@NIC was officially launched for Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences(JNIMS) Manipur by Shri N. Biren Singh, Honb’le Chief Minister, Manipur on 18th Dec. 2019 at JNIMS Auditorium in the presence of Shri L. Jayanta Kumar Singh, Honb’le Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Manipur, Dr. R.K. Ranjan Singh, Honb’le Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha(Inner Manipur), Shri l. Sushindro Meitei, Honb’le MLA, Khurai Assembly Constituency and Shri V. Vumlunmang, IAS, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Manipur on the occasion of the 12th Foundation Day Celebration of JNIMS. eHospital@NIC is developed by NIC for digitization of medical records, facility management and financial management of Government hospitals. eHospital@NIC will drastically reduce in patient waiting time during registration. It keeps track of all registered patients through unique permanent health identification numbers. It also will streamline the processes viz: easy access for doctors to relevant information on patients, diseases, investigations, diagnoses, prescribed medicines, past history etc. It will serve as an effective tool for inventory maintenance, proper billing and up-to-date account maintenance. The MIS reports and dashboard helps management in better monitoring and planning.
