Two-Days Training Programme for the Staff of MIS Directorate, Govt. of Manipur for Rollout of Central Management Information System (CMIS)
Two days training/sensitization programme was conducted for the staff of MIS Directorate, Government of Manipur on 26th & 27th of October, 2018 at the office of MIS Directorate, Government of Manipur. CMIS, which is the new version of MGEL (Manipur Government Employee List), is an integrated web application of Personnel Information System and Payroll developed by NIC for use by all departments of Government of Manipur. CMIS is integrated with BEAMS (Budget Estimation, Allocation and Monitoring System), TreasuryNet and CMP(Case Management Product) of SBI. Salaries of Government employees are directly credited to their respective bank accounts through this integrated system. The system is already implemented in 50 offices in the state on pilot basis. The programme was organised in preparation of state-wide rollout in a phased manner, the first batch of which will cover all DDOs in 7 departments. The said programme was attended by Director (MIS) and all his staff.
