To promote the use of Biofertilizer, the technology is to be percolated downwards to the farmers through the extension units of state Agriculture Departments. In this channel the first step is to equip the extension officers and field functionaries with the appropriate information about the usefulness and applicability of biofertilzers.

RBDC, Imphal is organising various types of training programme for different  states .
Refresher Course It is a 2 days refresher training course  on production of Biofertilisers for senior state level and technical officers of production units.
Orientation Course It is 2 days course for distinct & sub district offices of Agriculture Deptt, representatives of production units and Junior technical Officers of various Research organisations or Quality Control of  biofertilisers.
Extension Staff Training 2 days training on usefulness and application of biofertilisers for field offices and village Extension workers on transfer of biofertiliser technology for onward transmission to the farmers
Dealers Training 1 day training programme for Dealers especially on marketing, storage and usefulness aspects.
