of Biofertilizers
Production
Production process
is being used Production process is by and large semi-sterile in which
bacterial biomass is serially up scaled from slants to small flasks, to
bigger flasks kept on rotary shakers. After quality checking pure
bacterial broth is mixed with sterile carrier material and packed. Size
of the packet and shelf life 200 gm, shelf life six months .

Extension Activities
Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. with the wide network of extension
and field officers takes up various extension programmes as awareness
creation campaigns, technical group discussions etc with dealers,
retailers and progressive farmers. Huge quantity of technical literature
in local language is being distributed among farmers. Potential of mass
media such as TV, radio, News papers etc. is also being exploited.
