audit, inspection and inquiry into the working of
Co-operative Societies/Banks for Agriculture and Rural
Development and for taking up various Co-operative
Development Schemes and Credit operations.

(a) Manipur Societies Registration Act,1989.
(b) The Manipur Co-operatives Societies Act , 1976.
(c) The Bombay Money Lenders Act, 1946 as extended to
Manipur.
